According to both the Bible and history, the New Testament church invoked the name of Jesus at water baptism. Its baptismal formula was "in the name of Jesus Christ" or "Lord Jesus," not "in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost." The Scriptural Record Every time the Bible records the name or formula associated with an actual baptism in the New Testament church, it describes the name Jesus. in the Book of Acts, the history book of the early church.

What an interesting cult practice.
I don't get the point, but never the less, interesting.

According to the scriptures you need to be Christian to baptize someone - not a male or female. There is no command in the scriptures that males are required to baptize peolple.

There really is nothing that requires one to be a Christian to baptize someone else in the Scriptures. There are no requirements on the person doing the baptizing.

you are technically correct - although the accounts the New Testament talks about are all accounts of Christians doing the baptizing and there are no accounts of non-Christians doing the baptizing.
Interesting thread though - not much commented on incredible stories of life-change...just "religion"
