THE WEAKER UR CHARACTER GETS THE SCARIER THE GAME GETS. LIKE U KNOW IN THIS GAME U CANT DO ANYTHING AGAINST THEM BUT FLEE. SILENT HILL(LESS SCARY) COS AT LEAST THE GUY CAN FIGHT AGAINST THE MONSTERS. man whenever i see one of those zombie like monster things i always start praying to god and hope that he doesnt find me and i dont move from my position for the next 5 min but this guy... well lets just say he is bouse!

@100trueneutral every single element in this game contributes to its atmosphere. whether it's the sound design, story or the gameplay elements. it is revolting and incredibly scary if you immerse yourself to it. just go ahead buy it and play it. don't watch lets plays or other videos before hand. play it alone, in a dark space and with headphones.

This is one of the rather tame bits—and it's certainly much more frightening to experience for oneself, hopefully immersed. I can assure you that this game is intensely atmospheric.

imo the most scary thing in this game is the fact that you cant defend your self unlike other horror games where if something popped up you can kill it,

in this your only choice is too run and hide and hope you dont go insane
