I got my Recon in the '08 VDay Tourney - years before ODST.

ALSO, this gate is OBSOLETE and over a year old. Hopefully, I'll get up a new video soon showing off a "Hold RB to activate switch" gate. No fusion coil needed! (Check my channel within the month)
