I'm with the blonde chick and the "bleeding hearts" on this one. I don't want to be on the same insurance plan as some fat slob who can't get their shit together. No one's asking him to take up MMA and become a vegan but if he can't get his BMI below 62 then to hell with him. The lady said it herself, a BMI over 40 is no accident, and you're not in the hospital today that doesn't mean that a daily regimen of krispy kreme's and cigars won't put you there. I bet he complains about welfare, too LOL

I just wish the military didn't use BMI because we lost a ton of good soldiers due to the height/weight program even tho they were in shape and could pass pt.

as much as i agree with skinny girls perspective, i'm 5'9 and fit comofortable in a size 32 waist pant. and accordingly to the BMI i'm drastically obese. drastically. BMI using the height versus weight scale isn't going to solve the problem. how about letting doctors decide if your healthy or making healthy decisions, but that would be an invasion of privacy... same as letting doctors decide whether your physically/mentally healthy enough to drive a vehicle. which i think should be allowed.
