Scott Raybin of The Green Savings Company shows the light output difference in LUX/lumens between a standard 32W T8 lamp and The Green Savings Company's T5 Retrofit Kit (28W). The results show that commercial spaces using T8 or T12 bulbs in their fixtures can save significantly by delamping with the T5 Retrofit Kit. • While your observation was correct. The purpose of the test was to show what the difference in lumens is for a real world situation where there was a T8 with no reflector vs the T5 Retrofit kit.

  • Wow, your ignorance and lack if knowledge is rather incredible!

  • the best bulbs are t-12 all the way not the reto fit pish that is produced now t-5. Test was unfair as not like for like

  • The T5 has a mirrored reflector behind it where as the T8 lamp has just a white painted ballast cover which makes a huge difference in reflective light output. This test is misleading as you are not comparing apples to apples as far as background reflectance goes. I do lighting retrofits for companies and I am also an electrical contractor and the difference is not as much as this test would have you think. Though the T5 has a better/higher power factor in general.

    Greetings & Salutation =)

your videos really help me to differentiate things about Kelvin, Colour Tempreature, Lumens & other good stuff due to lightings.

    Thanks again!

I've been working on salt water aquarium & I've tried to plant some underwater plant but it didn't work out.

Thanks for the info again buddy =)
