Please enjoy Teresa's performance of a Japanese original song "春を待つ花 (Haru wo Matsu Hana)", meaning "Flowers Waiting for Spring". (Nakayama Daisaburou) composed the song and also wrote the lyrics.
Teresa's corresponding Chinese song is "相見在明天 Meeting Again Tomorrow".
The following are the Japanese original lyrics, with my English translation.
Anata-no tame-ni haru matsu hana-wo
(Do you remember the flowers waiting for spring for the sake of you?)
Oboete imasuka ano-hi-no mama-ni
(Those flowers were in bloom last year,)
Kyonen-mo saite kotoshi-mo saita
(and are also in bloom this year again by keeping the same style)
Hana-bira wa sukoshi-zutsu iro-wo mashimasu
(Colors of flower petals are becoming rich day by day)
Namida-wo shirimashita kokoro-no itami-mo shirimashita
(I have learned tears and also learned heart ache)
Kagam-no mae-de keshou-shite
(In front of the mirror, I am just weeping)
Dare-no tame-to naitemasu naitemasu
(by wondering for whom I am doing a makeup)
Wasurenaide-ne mukae-ni kite-ne
(Please do not forget, and come to take me with you)
Tayori-mo todae uwasa-mo todae
(You stopped writing to me, and I hear no talking about you)
Yakusoku hitotsu-ga furuete imasu
(Only one promise is trembling)
Shinjite mite-mo watashi-wa onna
(I am a weak woman just believing in you)
Are kore to omou-tabi yoru-ga tsurakute
(Whenever I wonder, I feel painful at night)
Namida-mo shirimashita aisuru-kanashisa shirimashita
(I learned tears and learned sadness of loving)
Sore-yori hitori matsu koto-no
(I only learned how it is agonizing)
Kurushimi dake-wo shirimashita shirimashita
(to wait for you alone, that's all)
Wasurenaide-ne mukae-ni kite-ne
(Please do not forget, and come to take me with you)
Namida-mo shirimashita ima-dewa hatachi-wo sugimashita
(I learned tears, and I am now over 20 years old)
Komado-wo akete bonyarito
(By opening a small window,)
Sugosu-toki ga tsuzukimasu tsuzukimasu
(I am just idly watching time goes by)
Wasurenaide-ne mukae-ni kite-ne
(Please do not forget, and come to take me with you)
HD mode is so crystal clear. I feel as if I could touch the flowers in the picture!
The meaning in lyric of Japanese version is as beautiful as the Chinese origin.
Thanks for sharing!! : )
