Does your dinghy go this fast? CAN 8147 with Ian Brayshaw at the helm and Jeff Beitz crewing. After Race Committee canceled racing on Sunday, 21 March, USA 7124 (Chris Gorton/Michael Heinsdorf), USA 8122 (Barney Harris/Henry Pedro) and CAN 8147 (Ian Brayshaw/Jeff Beitz) went out to play one last time in the aquamarine waters of Sarasota Bay before packing up the boats and heading back home. Just as we got out, the wind went from 23+ knots to about 18 knots steady - not what we were hoping for, but still a good time. This is a brand new GBR Ovington Albacore and it was a blast to see that despite the differences in age, a 29 year old glass boat was able to go out and play with state of the art racing machines (HAPCO's USA 8122 being the other). Nice change from classes where it seems like you have to spend a boatload of money to stay midfleet. Notice Jeff's "o" face as he's gasping for air when he isn't being firehosed by the spray.

Seem to have the crew and skipper too far forward--wouldn't you benefit from moving right aft?
