I created this video just for another reference on the condition of a refurbished Mac. As I found out myself while researching whether I should buy new or not, the more resources/videos on refurbs, the better.

This is a mid-2009 unibody 15.4" Macbook Pro with the 2.66ghz core 2 duo processor, 4gb RAM and a 320 gb HDD. It also has the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M + 9600M GT with 256MB graphics cards. Snow Leopard came preinstalled on it, which surprised me since Apple told me it wouldn't be and I would just get a retail copy of the OS included with my computer. Runs great, looks brand new. Couldn't be happier, and saved 300 bucks in the process by buying a refurb.

If you want a more detailed unboxing, then there are plenty of those videos out there. This is simply a quick video to show the condition of a refurbished MacBook Pro. Thanks

  • Do you still have the 2009 refurbished MBP? How is it holding up after a year and a half?

  • @nosredna2 yeah i still have it. it runs great still and haven't noticed any decrease in performance at all. i do treat it like my little baby though. haha

  • i have a 17''....but i would like a 15'', too! Where did you purchase your refurbished one?

  • i ordered it from apple. i probably would only order a primary computer from apple themselves, but otherwise i am thinking about buying an old emac or g4 imac from ebay or something like that just to dink around with.

  • Love your expression at 1:34!!!! That will probably be what i do when i get my MBP. I plan to get one next summer hopefully they'll have Blu-ray drives in them. How do you like the speed of yours?

  • oh it is great! put vista on it as a "just in case" thing with bootcamp, and OS X loads in about 15-20 seconds if that, and it takes vista at least 3 times that. I will probably just get rid of vista on it entirely. looks like crap compared to OS X!!

  • hahahaah macmoooooook!

  • I know why you got your refurbished macBook like that cause Apple replace everything the keyboard, the screen even the trackpad. Basically people don't want to say "oh its a refurbished macbook pro" don't know why. I might get one maybe

  • thanks for posting this :3 you may have just saved me $300 hahaha

  • where did you get this from?

  • @SGPflyers I'm planning on selling my 15 inch Macbook Pro Antiglare and get me a glossy one refurbished. From what I've seen refurbished Apple products seem worth the savings. Many say and I believe that it's the same as getting a brand new laptop but without the fancy box. Sometimes even the brand new ones can come out with tiny dents from the factory which it happened to me once and I returned it.

  • I ordered my 13"mac book pro (refurbished) yesterday and UPS will bring it to me today :D

  • You cannot afford macbook? Check out offer at macbook7 . com You can get one NOW
