Last Night Good Night - English Cover

Here is my cover of Last Night Good Night, originally performed by 初音ミク. I used Luschka's English lyrics and it took me almost 2 and a half hours to do. I added annotations to the video because my English is so horrible and I fail at annunciation...forgive me. orz

I used a Karaoke Revolution microphone(yeah, seriously and Audacity. To start off, I won't even lie; I cannot hit the notes that Miku can so easily throw out there(if there is someone out there that can, whoohoo, you're probably a first soprano!) because I am a mezzo soprano, with my range being from mid-first soprano to baritone. I changed the song's original pitch to a lower octave so that I could easily sing it, and I personally think that it still has the same wonderous tone that the original does, but that's my opinion. Sorry if you thought I was about to pull out a Mariah Carey voice.

I'm not sure if if was the instrumental file or the program, but the entire second half of the song had to be split up into about 9 different parts. For some reason, if I went longer than 15-30 seconds, the music would skip, throwing the rest of the song off. I redid the end of this song so many times, you can hear the weariness in my voice in the last couple of verses, and for this I apologize. The volume is also kind of odd because of how many takes this is combined of. This is my first time posting something like this, so constructive critism would be nice. C:

I dedicate this song to my friend on AP, who inspires me, along with many others, to use music to express emotion.

Oh, if you record in audacity, make sure you use a compressor effect, or the recording will sound muffled FOREVER. :D

Listen guys, If you say this is not good, you don't know anything about singing .

Her singing is perfekt! I must say.. Its super hard to reach those notes..

1. Vocaloid can reach high notes. Wich is hard for a human, but theres some ppl who can. But she could acually hit them . It didnt sound bad

2. If you guys don't like this, just stop comment it .. Its so stupied! -.- . She sings really really good! Can you guts hear it? .. wow if you cant, go and see a doctor
