The Lingala title of this would be Mobali Sans Passeport, but the title as above is on the sleeve and the label.

Recorded in 1983 in Paris without le T.P. O.K. Jazz. All vocals by Josky and Franco. Franco plays acoustic guitar.

Interestingly, this song was composed by saxophone player Matalanza, but I can not discover a note of sax in this recording.

  • With this marvellous music I imagine myself in a boat floating on some African river feeling the warm wind... (if I could understand the words...my fantasy changed).

    0:00-2:00 boat leaving a shore..

2:00-5:55 the boat going fast.. I hear beautiful melancholic voices singing

5:55: The warm wind blows: "let go, let go, let go, let go,...".

The following layers of this song have an unique quality!

  • The bass on this is beautiful.
