Hey you did attack. Hehehe. And you scored too. Add that attacking dimension to your game and you'll do much better. You already know that. Lull your opponents to sleep then unleash you secret offense. You can do it. Try it out more.

The guy with the wristband serves illigally. Don't they enforce this in tournament?

The tournament referee was playing himself so he couldn't referee the final.. His serves didn't bother me.. I missed 1 maybe 2 service returns.. His serves weren't a factor. He beat me with his forehand.. Gotta play more into his backhand next time that I'll play him.

You know, I don't think you ever attacked in this video. If you want to play defensive, you must still try to mix it up. Don't just put out your racket to block like a piece of wood. Put some spin on the ball so your opponent can at least adjust. It looked like you were training your opponent to get better at smashing the ball. Make him adjust. Add underspin and slow the game down while playing his backhand a lot. Plus, attack him when you have the chance. Otherwise he might as well train him.

I actually attacked once at 1:42 into that game :-D
My game is a pure blocking game and I rarely attack.. That has been good enough to get above 2100 in rating but I won't get much higher than that without attacking.. I'm training to mix up the spin more and attack more but I'm not confident enough to do that in a tournament.. I have to spend more time practicing before I can use those strokes in a tournament..
