Tony Perkins declares that Americans will never accept the legitimacy and legality of gay marriage and that if the Supreme Court ever recognizes it, it will "create great unrest."

His position is 100% wrong. When the Supreme Court forced interracial marriage on the entire country, 72% of the public still thought it was morally wrong. 60 years later, some of the public still feels that way. But our country managed to survive, even though interracial marriage DID create a great deal of unrest. Secondly, it doesn't violate reason to allow gay people who are sexually attracted to the same gender, to marry someone of the same gender. That's common sense.

Natural law = You can do whatever you can do.

Artificial law = You can do whatever society says you can do.

God's law = You can do what some jerk arbitrarily tells you "God" said you can do.

What the hell is natural law?

Who creates it and/or enforces it? I know about the laws of physics.

If an animal breaks natural law do they get arrested? Do they get a jury of their peers?

Oh if only these self-righteous religious leaders (folks like Perkins, I mean. Not all religious folks are narrow minded. To them, you help keep God's faith in humanity) would just stop with all the rhetoric, hell...BOTH sides stop the rhetoric and just put out the facts and stop this useless argument about letting two consenting adults marry, no matter their gender...and LET THEM MARRY!
