It would be nice to show the price next to the component name in the order form. Some kind of shipping estimate is necessary too. Not knowing the amount the credit card will be changed is discouraging. Also, it would be great to know how the charge will look like. Some banks deny international transactions, unless you call them and tell in advance how much and who the payee will be.

Is it possible to order the edubook in kit form?
What are the chances of the hdd using a sata cable? (It's just getting harder and harder to find ide drives nowdays)

We will have a 10.1 inch Edubook in January. The 10.1 will have SATA. We would like to keep the 8.9 inch as the ultra-low-cost device it is and then if people want to use a hard disk, they go for the 10.1 inch. We can still source Samsung IDE drives.
We are looking for customers to see just how much computing they can do nontraditionally.
The Edubook is to a laptop what a laptop is to a desktop.
