Hi, my camcorder weighs 410g (0.41 kg). The Smoothshot claims to support a weight of up to 1000g (1.0 kg).

Hi, how much does your camera weight? I own a Canon 5D MarkII with a Canon 27-70 2.8f and a battery grip, do you thing this could be too heavy for the SmoothShot? Looking at the SmoothShot pictures, i believe the small knob above the grip could be a bit fragile to hold all the weight. I could switch the 27-70 lens to the canon 50mm 1.8f, is almost a Kilo less.
