It is a shame that there are still simpletons, like Doren, who honestly think that the best debater settles the science. It does not!
If this were the case than creationists would have won the creation/evolution issue many decades ago.
No, debaters, evolution is still as valid as it was 150 years ago, albeit more settled now than it was a 150 years ago. And AGW is still as valid as 50 years ago. albeit more settled now than 50 years ago.
@truthofevolution I suppose so i hadnt thought of it that way. I suppose really one is a lord and the other a politician. U may as well get Lady Gaga and Paris Hilton to debate about it.
@CHardi1099 also you are the one confounding two issues. The legitimacy of GW has nothing to do with how much energy Gore uses in comparison to that of an average person. It has to do with how much peer reviewed evidence there is available, and GW wins by a mile. The debate was over a long time ago. Only people who dont understand how science works, or people paid off by the oil industry still try to resurrect it.
@CHardi1099 you are infact confounding subjects. The veracity of GW has nothing to do with whether Gore takes his pledge to reduce energy consumption. It has to do with the peer reviewed evidence available. GW overwhelmingly wins in this regard.
@CHardi1099 please respond to my comment next time so I know you posted. Im sorry you think that I sound like a miserable human being. But I speak from a scientific perspective. GW and Evo. are related in one way, both have many scientifically peer reviewed research papers.
@JarrodCook93 its very simple. Monkton has not published any scientific papers on the subject. He has no credibility. Al Gore does not either. So any debate is a waste of time that relies on tactics required for supposed victories than actual veracity of evidence which can only be determined by a peer review process.
Anything Monkton has to say is a waste of time from a scientist's perspective.

No debate will change that fact.

@truthofevolution Monkton is one of the most famous climate skeptics at the moment how is a debate against him 'not worth it'
