Дело в том, что реактор был неправильно спроектирован и опасен изза своих дефектов. Некоторые знали это, но тем не менее персонал не был проинформирован о неисправностях. Да и грубое нарушение Дятлова тоже внесло свой вклад в происшедшее... :(

Почему тогда это видержало столъко лет? Скорее,что нужно было,чтобы это случилосъ...

И почему директора чутъ ну спешили уехатъ куда нибудъ...

Хотя да, это скорее была не ошибка, а халатность.. И всеже прошлое не вернешь назад и не исправишь произошедшее.. х(

@stormcsss С реактором всё было в порядке.

Его взорвали, можно сказать, намеренно: отключили все три контура защиты, всю автоматику, и сделав то, что делать было категорически нельзя - причём не просто нельзя, а то, что им категорически запретили делать разработчики реактора. Сам по себе этот реактор взорваться не мог в принципе.

The problem was with the controlrods.. When the power was so low there was a hotspot created in the core.. And this made the power increase very very rapidly.. And to take control the controlrods were inserted again.. But by now

the graphite tipped controlrods just made the problem worse.. and there was a powersurge that triggered the first explosions in the core.. The rest is history.

@Citzen92 The system had a big flaw.. If it didn´t happen in 1986 it would have sooner or later.

The powerplant was not designed for low power output, when the test was under way in 86 the rules for the

test was discarded and the plant was taken down to 200MW of power.. and it was not able to remain stable

at that low output and continued to go down in power, so they pulled out the controlrods to regain power, and they managed to raise the power a bit.. so the test continued.

It was sabotage.NUCLEAR PLANT cannot be destroyed by itself.

They didn't even know, where they were going to. The goverment of the USSR was secretive about this - as always...
