THRILLING MOMENT:
Michael, along with 15,000 invited guests attend the New York Metropolitan Museum of National History to receive awards from CBS and The Guinness Book Of World Records. Date: 02/07/1984
NOT SO THRILLING MOMENT:
Michael came out to early. The plan was for the stage manager to cue Walter Yetnikoff who was presenting the award and Walter would introduce Michael. MJJ was a quite absent minded that night to say the least and jumped the gun. This is one more gem that adds to Mr.Jackson's reputation of periodically stepping in "it".
He did own the audience somewhat who thought he was going to moonwalk & yee haw which he did not. He still nevertheless got the award and deservedly so.'Thriller' is the highest selling album of all time with 104 million copies sold worldwide. (1984)
THRILLING TIDBIT:
Lori Eastside ,former Kid Creole & The Coconuts lead vocalist, staged and choreographed this thrilling dance performance set to Michael's chart topping music.
The lock & pop dancers were members of Lori Eastside's Rockercise Break Dance Crew: Coco, Derrick, Crazy Louie, Skinny Louie.

The dancer that he went and talked to is the teacher im taking dance lessons from right now... she told me that he came up to her and asked her what to do because he come out to early... she told up just to dance... pretty incredable

This was the best of times.....on top of the universe...Michael Jackson. I am sure he wanted to be at the pinnacle again...and that was the movie ...THIS IS IT! (Guinness book entry: highest grossing concert movie of all time)
He did it to the very end....to the LAST MINUTE.
