Christendom is saturated with trendy translations and revised revisions and polished paraphrases which not only differ from the KJV in form and expression but also in substance and content. So-called modern scholarship has told us that the Bible we have now is not reliable so these new versions completely omit, discredit, or change, scores of Bible verses that once stood as the walls around the narrow way of truth. On every page there are notes telling you, you can’t trust what you’re reading.

We are told that these doubts and questions about the contents of the Bible are the product of better scholarship and recently discovered evidence. Anyone who consults these new and improved versions will be led to believe that no Bible can be trusted. Not only do these scholars challenge and discredit the KJV but they challenge and discredit all the other new and improved versions. They even discredit their own version by inserting all those little notes.

You are defending other Bible versions without looking up the orginal origin of the word. It's not about being right. It's not about defending other Bible versions. It's not about defending a man. You are more interested in being and in proving yourself right than you are in truly finding out the truth. This is pride and ego speaking not a humble, teachable spirit I am sorry to say.

Hey Fyrstikken, I like yogurt too! Looks good. :-) Young man this isn't about making Fyrstikken or anyone else look stupid. You are not to downgrade your brother. We are here to help lift each other up. You are reading about an eagle in Revelation but you are reading from a different version and the only true version in my opinion is the KVJ which you are not reading from. It is not about defending men. The bottom line is about finding and defending truth. Find the truth and sell it not.
