You have do great job although I think that maybe the right title would be : "How I processing and mixing my drums" instead "How I record my drums" because I didn't see you anywhere to push the "red" button!:) I would like to see the recording of the drums.

At 3:47 you said that the pre post FW button take the signal pre or post fader. So is this a modified Onyx? Because at the standard configuration the pre post FW button take the signal only pre or post EQ.

@MrSpyX You are correct my friend! My board isn't modified, so I need to correct what I said. It is indeed pre or post EQ and not pre or post fader. Thanks for pointing that out, my blabbering in these videos were not rehearsed so that was an honest mistake... Thanks!

so on 6:05...both the drums and the cd is played on your headphones? so you basically can hear both of them? at the same time?

Yes sir! You are da man! I've played drums since 1968, but I'm getting a late start in life, recording. Thank you for an excellent, understandable, presentation on how to tune and record! Really getting a lot out of it!!!
