The thing about 80s anime was there were plenty of titles, especially OAVs that were never officially distributed in the US, that were bad from generically mediocre to epic stinkers. This is a whole other special level of awful and, AND it was officially released in the US. It was like CPM grabbed it as an afterthought.

I remember watching this when I was seven years old, my mom rent it in an old video club here in mexico. The title was translated as "Criatura del Espacio" (Space Creature). I used to watch it over and over again because at the time I have always seen "happy" endings and this ending is JUST CRAZY!!! By the way it was the first time when i saw too much blood in a cartoon.

@Padauy Haha, I love obscure items of obscure shit, I never thought this was ever dubbed into any language other than Japanese, and released on Betamax of all things. Nice possession.
