WA or Fed Gov should be stepping in to support this sanctuary. It obviously plays an important part not only environmentally but from an educational point as well. How fantastic is it that there are obviously people from all around the world visiting or working there. Aust has a very embarrassing extinction record and it is about time our gov steps up and supports worthy causes like this sanctuary. Sometimes it seem to me we are always sending money o/s and neglecting our own backyard.

Carol, or "Roo Gully", was my first YouTube friend and has been for well over a year now. So it really hurts me to hear that things are not looking well for her. I truly hope that if she DOES have to sell, it will be to someone who would love those kangaroos every bit as much as she does and would intend to keep it flourishing---with all the love Carol has ever put into this. I've been trying to study abroad in Perth and I would have loved to visit or even volunteer at Roo Gully.

Thanks for posting this. I am sure it will do heaps to raise the awareness of our plight.

Thanks also to everyone who has donated and given us so much moral and emotional support during this difficult period. It is heartening to know how many people really do care about our precious wildlife.
Thanks.
