Moving People is a dance created for Moving Planet, a worldwide day of action to fight climate change. It is a call to action inspired by the words of Bill McKibben, founder of 350.org, an international grassroots movement dedicated to solving the climate crisis. It animates his compelling description of the effect of a steadily heating planet, conveying the urgency and immediacy of the need for radical change. The speech, the music, and the dance together invite us all to put ourselves in motion for Moving Planet on September 24, 2011 and the larger movement to fight global warming.
