@whitecloud46 um, i m sorry, but just today in a Masjid we had a good view of Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam's life and He said that "Khadija was his favorite wife." becuz she believed Him when no one did, she covered Him when he was shaking and she was the child of 6 children from Him.
this incident occured when he was 40 and was once meditating in the cave and for the first time Jibrael came to Him with the First Ayah oh the Qur'an. "Iqra"

Another tradition holds that Muhammad himself is said to have told his favorite wife Aisha that, “Had not your people been still close to the pre-Islamic period of ignorance I would have dismantled the Kaaba and would have made two doors in it; one for entrance and the other for exit”. [Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 3, Number 128].
