@liberty2001 wrong the drug cartels will be running the US pot farms
farahnet1 1 year ago
If you want to hit the drug cartels where it really hurts, legalize pot. It's over 60% of their revenue and a crucial component of their importation and distribution operations. The cartels could not survive the domestic competition that would exist in the environment of legal and regulated trade of this commodity.
Drug prohibition (especially cannabis) has created a protected black market that offers a tremendous tax free profit opportunity. Prohibition is a war we can't win.

America created the problem there
In America 1 in 100 people been in prison
Moreover, America is not a democratic republic, but rather a war-mongering socialist country for corporations
America is second only to Mexico in illiteracy rates
Whatever America touches, it makes elites rich; and destroys working peoples lives

DEA arrests caused power vacuums along the Tex-Mex boarder; The loss of Abrego was like losing Saddam Hussein in Iraq: Afterward all hell broke loose!
Drug leaders placed in prison quickly forged alliances, (Tijuanas Arellano Felix & Gulf leader Osiel Cardnas). The Mexican prison system has become a recruiting & university drug training inst for the drug lords
DEA meddling has exacerbated the trouble; Their war on Mexican drugs made things worse! The stats speak clearly for themselves!
