This Fender Mustang I amplifier review vid will show you each of the preset sounds, I just jam around a bit on each one. Of all the beginners amps I've tried so far this one is by far the most fun and inspiring to play about with... what you are seeing here is just a slice of the 3 hours I was jamming around with it!! It's not going to compete tonally with my main amps but at less than 100 bucks I think it's fantastic.

Big THANK YOU to Musicroom.com for loaning me the amp for the review.

Shiteburgers... I just noticed the audio is out of phase. What a joke, a review about the sound and the audio is out, and it seems I can't replace it so going to have to re-upload this as soon as I can figure out how to re-edit the audio. Fek :(

Full support at the justinguitar web site where you will find hundreds of lessons on a wide range of subjects, and all the scales and chords that you will ever need! There is a great forum too to get help, no matter what the problem.

And it is all totally free, no bull. No sample lessons, no memberships, no free ebook. Just tons of great lessons :)

To get help with this lesson (and for further info and tabs), find the Lesson ID in the video title (like ST-667 or whatever) and then look it up on the Lesson Index page of justinguitar.com

Have fun :)

  • I got this amp for Christmas. Personally, I don't like the sound of it with my guitar. I have an ibanez. Just an opinion in case anyone wanted to buy it.

  • Great review, thanks Justin! But personally I don't like the sound of this amp. Too damn transistor sound. Imho, the best modelling tech comes from native instruments and roland.

  • Informative demo, but Justin is a pro and could make a circuit board wrapped in chickenwire produce a decent tune. I listened to this, the Vox VT20 and a Pathfinder 10 & 15R. Despite wanting the Mustang, based many excellent reviews, the gimmick-free Pathfinder won me over. I'm new to guitar and amps, so no tone freak, but I returned my Cube 20 after 3 days. I found modelling amps sounded too synthetic. The clean channels had varying degrees of nice, but as soon as you unleashed the toys? nah.

  • Ordered my Mustang I today! Thanks Justin I'm ripping through your lessons online and getting around 30 on the one minute drills. Cheers!

  • infact ive now just clicked like coz hes good just got put off by him talking as soon as he plays thought it becomes pleasant

  • well he is proficient on guitar but like some body else wrote he talks too much... il take the hes a dick coment back though

  • hes a dick bet hes on the alliance side on warcraft

  • duuuude, that was awesome, can you teach the lick from 1:59 - 2:14. i can't quite figure out what your playing, cheers.

  • Lol 1 dislike.

  • I've got one of these amps to supplement my big valve amp. It is awesome value for money. Well worth a buy.
