$256.8 billion in fiscal year 2002 is what was spent on medicare. $440 billion for fiscal year 2007. Now Obama says he's going to add 47-48 million people and cut the cost to 90 billion per year or 900 billion for 10 ten years. How??? what a joke huh? 5 stars

I've been active in several elections, mostly local stuff since I learned the hard way in 2008 that fighting Washington D.C. is a lost cause. I'm pretty confident that the only way to push reform now is via state sovereignty. If all goes well there may be a peaceful realignment of the country. We are approaching a powder keg situation right now, and Obama's really lame partisan speech last night is really not helping matters, at all.
