Heavens no... I've had my theremin since '06, and it's a notoriously challenging instrument to play well. For the first several months most of what I played sounded like a cross between a cat being strangled and a 1950s B-movie soundtrack. It's taken me over 2 years to get to this point, and I'm still working on refining my technique. Thanks for the positive feedback, and happy new year!
