Sweet, I have a 40 size top wing Mud Duck (built of balsa and covering) that I traded from a friend that never flew it, I have fallen in love with the Mud Ducks, I am going to build the 83 in sport this spring, looks like they are easy to build, if you have any good tips I would be happy to here them, I've never built a foam board plane before. Looks like they are pretty tough little rascals. Take Care and Happy Flyin To Ya My Friend

I really enjoyed the video. The music and the build go together very well. The flight was awesome! She really moved out!
Thanks for another great video!!!

Dan, Thanks for the expert pilot credit, not really an expert, but anyway. here are the specs. Weight : 20 oz (without battery, and before noseweight) motor: Brushless Eflight park 370 w/geardrive Batt: 3 cell Lipo, 2070mah Servos: 3 Hs-81 First flight on calm day, Temp 78f , light gusts to 2mph.
Thanks Dan. Just saw the video documenting the duckling's demise. Never fun, but now you have a radio set to stick in something else. I saw the Crickit, but it seems fairly sport, and if so, I might as well fly a sporty park flyer. I would love to try out the slow float of a full sized duck... if only I could convince my wife we didn't need a guest bedroom. Thanks again for the info.

@fedorsmith You know, the funny thing was that shrinking it down made it quite hyper! Do you really NEED that guest room? HAHA

Hey Dan, how much did you reduce the plans by? It looks like more than 50%. What a great idea - the plane looks like fun, but I don't have room to store a full sized one.

@fedorsmith I took it down to about a 40 inch WS. I recommend making a Crickit if your looking for a great plane from the Mud Duck family. I just finished one, lots of fun to make, I hope to maiden it this week end.
