@NHLArchive this was a clean hit, his elbow came up after, which makes it look like he threw the elbow, as for the announcers, look at the network everyone knows fox sports is biased to the team. They are going to react negatively toward the opposing team, regardless of their nationality, because the network is paying the bills.

This is Hockey on FOX which is just wrong, they should stick to NFL. I have to agree with @moneyball69 and that the announcers are homers. If you would've uploaded a video from HNIC, there would have been different reaction and comment. Not even close to flying elbow....not even. There is hitting in hockey and players have to keep their heads up.

Arm tucked in? Yes. Targeted to the head with an elbow, HELL YES! 10 years ago (Scott Stevens era) (side note, cheap shot MF) we would have all said this was a clean hit. Now, Schenn try's he's best to make hit LOOK clean, but he still is targeted to take guy out for good...

I know about every announcer in the league, most of the American broadcasts have Canadian color analysts. Like I said in this particular clip it is not the normal color guy and the announcer later in the telecast said it was good.
