looked at you vid again , and noticed you put the elevator on top of the boom when instructions say to put it under the boom ....Any reason why you did that?

Hi , do you like your mini? how does it fly? I am looking into buying a dlg glider but not sure what to get . I wanted something with ailerons so I'm not sure about the mini FW ...Tell me more about your model. Thanks and nice flying.

My Mini Fireworks is about 18 months old now, and is still flying great! It has had a few repairs to the leading edge (spilts easy if you bungle a hand catch), and the aileron servos could do with a new gearset to remove the slightt play that has developed. You do get a bit of flutter on a REALLY hard launch with sloppy gears.
Oh, I bought it from T9 hobbysport in the UK. Cracking customer service :)

I'm going to say that the elevator on the top of the boom was done on purpose, so it can be kept a little bit clear of the sand and rocks that are native to my flying site (the beach!). The real reason though, is that I glued it on upside-down! IT doesn't seem to affect the flight characteristics at all though.
