Israel's search for best Kindergarten teacher

Hundreds of Kindergartens are taking place in a national drive to crown the country's best kindergerten teacher. The contest launched this week at the union of teachers will see hundreds of kindergarten workers whittled down to the very best over several stages. Among the criteria for the judges selecting the teachers to progress in the competition are the way they relate to their children, their ability to demonstrate using examples, educational vision and working with a team. Veteran teachers will be pouring over nomination forms to decide which teachers progress to the second stage of the contest. Despite this being the first year of the competiton, over 2000 nominations have already been received.
