Bird didnt have the athletic ability of Jordan or the skills of Magic but he had the heart of a champion and i laugh when people say he couldnt play in todays nba, larry bird could play with anybody in todays game

Pause it at 2:21 and you'll see his jagged finger. He completely broke it just before his rookie year and the dang thing was dangling. He said it never felt right again. Imagine how much better he'd have been if he came into the league with his shooting finger not f'd up. It's freaking scary.

majic johnson is the best all around player to ever play the game and he hated playing against bird cuz he knew larry was gunna give him everything he had.. and what does that tell u about larry
