    Ezio did died hundreds of years before Connor's time, but this don't mean he can't appear,so i guess he can really appear in AC3, like how Altair appeared in AC2 like being mentioned, since he was important to the Creed's story, or Desmond have some minor memories of Ezio that glitches for whatever reason. Ezio, like Altair, was very important to the Creed's story, so i guess he will be at least mentioned, or maybe (who knows?) even a statue like Altair's in AC2.
