Well, the 5850 will launch in October 13th and I don't think they will have a large price difference! Maybe you should wait for a couple of days and read some reviews then! ;)

HD4770 Shappire or XFX?

tigerdirect delivered it to me just now, the xfx 4770 version didn't come with a dvi to hdmi adapter or a crossfire adapter which sucks. i'm using a nexxtech adapter and i'm getting no audio. if you guys are getting this card do not get it from Tiger Direct get it from NewEgg or NCIX instead.

Gray screen, its like a BSOD, you will have no choice but to restart your CPU. The 5800s had been patched with new drivers, but the 5700s are still suffering from occational Gray screens. It randomly happens whether you are playing or doing nothing at all. Its driver defects not a hardware defect.

What kind of "glitches" does the Evergreen series have? I have two 5850s and I haven't noticed anything! Please enlighten us!

Don't compare a 4770 with a 4650, the 4770 is basicly a weaker 4850,4870. Meaning much better then a 4650. This is the BEST $100 budget gaming card you can get for the money. DX11 is bullshit right now, just wait till the new nvidia ones it's going to be better hopefully. The ati ones are glitchy.
