Riposa Commercial (School Project)

The goal of this project was to take a 30 second commercial, strip all of the audio and recreate it all in our own way.

I chose this particular one because if gave me the opportunity to do some subtle yet interesting design with the sound. For example, during the swimming section, I took a normal splash and used the "elastic audio" capabilities of Pro Tools to match not only the time, but the feel of the swimmer in slower motion.

As for the music, I interpreted the video as the dreams of the individuals. Therefore, I tried to write something that was light and kinda "spacey", even if it did come out a bit dark. :-)
