Actually that door isn't open for someone to see out. There is a seat a the front of the train that you can see into the cab from. That where he is.

@latinboy84909 : EL or L means Elevated train and we have subways which are underground trains. Should come to Chicago and ride it sometime. Great view of the city.

Thanks for posting this. When I visited Chicago to railfan, they wouldn't let me videotape because of 9/11. In fact, they were so protective of the 9/11 victims, they even wanted the rules to be kept secret. What a waste of money when it comes to secrecy. I hope you got permission to videotape the train.
