Sorry this took so long.

(For anyone that finds this later on, this is actually an off-air copy of TCF with Roger Limb's "Swirley" under it. "Swirley" is credited as being written specifically for use during the two minutes before the BBC Engineering Announcements which habitually took place on BBC2 on weekdays, the times varying depending on the year - there are plenty of places out there that can give you exact times. The song was later featured as part of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop "21" compilation which also featured the work of Paddy Kingsland, Delia Derbyshire and Desmond Briscoe amongst others).

  • @squirrelsareninjas1 Take two aspirin and call me in the morning! :)

  • Not sure how to take that! Creepy? What, Carole or the music?

  • FANTASTIC!! After all these years of it living in my head, here it is!!! I remember hearing this at school if the teacher was late switching the set off after Playschool. Yes, I was only 3 at the time!!!!

  • @Littleswamp1 That's a pretty good memory you have there! All I remember from that time myself was sitting under the dining table scribbling on paper! That was a long time before Swirley was penned though; my first memories of the BBC Engineering Announcements was introduced with Syd Dale's "Walk and Talk".

  • This Rodger Limb piece is on the double CD BBC Radiophonic Workshop- a retrospective which also has Rodger Limb's atmospheric For love or money, Dr Who Caves of Androzani and Ghost on the water. Rallyman sounds like a JM Jarre track, sadly this one is only on the Soundhouse tape or LP.

  • what the fuck???????? this is maddddddddd obscure and aweosme. and creepy!!!!
