This is my collection of vintage Star Wars figures. I recarded all of them myself. I'm in the process of collecting and recarding an entire vintage set. Be sure to check out my other videos where I show how to do a recard.

If you collect vintage Star Wars figures, be sure to check out my other videos. I do a weekly show here on youtube called "Vintage Star Wars Weekly".

"Vintage Star Wars Weekly" is a video show that focuses on vintage Star Wars toys. A new episode is released on youtube every Monday. The main hosts of the show are Darth Beer and Admiral Wetbar. The show also features weekly segments from Princess Midori and Sebastian DiNapoli. There is a different vintage figure featured on the show every week, with video of variant figures and commentary being provided by Sebastian. Princess Midori reads viewer emails in her weekly segment, and she also hosts a monthly vintage figure give-away contest that is open to anybody who would like to enter.

If you would like to have your Star Wars collection featured on an episode of "Vintage Star Wars Weekly", Feel free to contact us:
vswweekly@yahoo.com

If you have a comment you would like Princess Midori to read on an episode of the show, you can email her here:
vswwmidori@yahoo.com

You also use her email address to enter her vintage figure give-away contests. To learn exactly how to enter her contests, just watch her segment on any episode of the show.

  • Awesome collection! How long have you been collecting for?

  • I've loved Star Wars since I was a kid, and I used to have lots of the toys, but I've only been collecting as an adult for about two years.

  • ;( i ordered a lando calrissan from ebay and it turns out it was a RECARD i was irate man ;(((

  • That sucks. I hope the guy gave you your money back.

I think recards are cool, but they should NEVER be passed off as the real thing.

  • Just wondering. What makes the Kenner figures so expensive? Is it the historic value?

Comparing with the modern Star Wars action figures, the Kenner figures are inferior in terms of design, paint, scuplts and articulations.

  • The vintage Star Wars figures are more expensive for several reasons I think.

#1 - They are old and many were destroyed by the kids that played with them back in the 1980's.

#2 - Nostalgia. Many people who played with the toys as a child, now want to collect and display them.

You are right about the Hasbro toys being a MUCH better likeness to the real thing, but I can tell you for a fact that they don't stand up to play-wear half as well as the old Kenner figures did.

  • moc s for me gotta be original ,recards and the the making of all repro reprodution star wars should be banned , the way 2 tell if u have brought a recard is the print on the back of the card, the bubble, the figure.fake weapons ? the water test ,,drop weapon in glass of water ,if it floats on top its the real deal ,,if it sinks 2 bottom its reproduction ,,repro as they say ,and dont add nothing 2 your collection just an over priced figure , may the force be with u all

  • awsome

  • Nice figure collection man!

  • @chubbarino I agree that not everyone makes them for their own personal collection. Far too many crooks out there. This person was completely up front about the fact that they were recarded so I have no problem. As for the weapons, I am guessing it is so the weapon doesn't fall out the figures hand.

  • @chubbarino What is wrong with recarding them if they are for your own personal collection and you aren't trying to sell them as real? As for the taping of the weapons, I think it is obvious why he did that.

  • I personally despise recards and wish people would stop making them. BTW, Stormtroopers, Hammerhead, AT-AT driver and Greedo weapons were never taped to the bubble. If you are going to do it, at least do it right.

  • reproduction cards? vinyl caped jawa on card?

  • Great video man!
