Sweet potatoes are ok. White starches are whats bad.

@Masteroftrancegirl but you really cannot compare genetically modified CORN SYRUP to any fructose or glucose found in nature. The body responds to corn syrup like it is a foreign contaminant because it is not of this earth.

@Masteroftrancegirl hey that is actually an incredible diet.. thats how I eat too! I just add sweet potatoes, maple syrup and LOTS of nuts pecans brazil nuts almonds, I am a very active guy Hiking and Resistance Training I really need the extra carbs and calories, but trust me, these are healthy sources strait from the earth. I really apologize for getting mean and upset.

@styxtap Steak, eggs, salmon, butter, coconut oil, avocados, bacon, green non-starchy vegetables. Yeah, I'd say my diet is probably healthier than anyone who eats the standard American diet.
-
@Masteroftrancegirl yea dude Sweet Potato and Real Maple Syrup are actually not healthy for you, your right. Good luck staying healthy in the future while avoiding nutrient rich foods.
-
@styxtap Thank your for acknowledging what I was thinking (thumbs up).

@AmusingYeti this is awesome. Im jealous. Grass fed beef is not that popular yet. I have to drive 20 miles to whole foods or farmers market.

@Masteroftrancegirl If you want scientific evidence, your best bet is hardly pestering some moron on youtube
-
@Masteroftrancegirl That is the dumbest shit I have ever heard. You would not no science if it hit you in the face.

Sugar is sugar, whether it is in fruit or in pop. Don't eat too much sugar. You CAN get fat off of fruit.
it's true. If you are one of those people who as always struggled with your weight it means you are more sensitive to carbohydrates. Carbs spike your insulin. Insulin spikes cause hunger and then you EAT!
some people who don't really gain easily are less sensitive to those insulin spikes therefore consuming carbs doesn't pose a threat for maintaining their body weights

@bellaheartsww
yeah, its more than just calories in and the calories being burned. Insulin has alot to do with it, it gave me a reality check :)
