lol, but seriously, I used petroleum jelly with chapped skin, and it worked.... plus, i took it out after a few weeks, and my cube turned better than any other cube i had seen before...

I'm pretty sure vaseline is better, because if you have chapped skin, it will heal almost instantly while using a Rubik's cube.

No, vaseline on the long run damages the plastics...and vaseline becomes dirty
