When you say "GREAT", you mean the XBOX 360 / PS3 version, right? Its twice as good as the Wii and PS2 versions.
One thing Idont get is why the critics hate it so much? I even found the werehog to be fun. It reminds me of Kingdom Hearts

hah this is like the only positive unleashed review on the net. i am a sonic game but am still confused about whether or not to get this game :(

you mean your a sonic fan? not game.
imo i recommend giving this game a try. not nessesarily buy it but barrow it or rent it and if you like it buy it cause it has some nice dlc. i cant garantee youll love it but its no where as bad as critics say. they sort of like to bash on non 2d sonic games.

its 4 day levels and 2 night levels of each country. although the day levels consist of 2 hard versions of already existing levels and 2 new day levels. it doesnt really sound like much but its very cheap. only around 250 microsoft points for each level pack
