  • why should i buy if i can have it for free? lol :D

  • @Paduddel Actually, a huge majority of tablatures are not accurate on internet. mySongBook focuses on quality providing one acurrate score per song directly available in a smart and handy reader tool: Guitar Pro 6 and/or mySongBook Player. The price either allows us to pay our music owner and professional transcriptors for their great job. We also make our best to offer original arrangments that you can't find online for solo guitar, banjo, etc.

  • @Giorg1581 Totally agree with you, but lets not forget that mySongBook/Guitar Pro brings tabs to another level. The music score is not in a paper, it is a player that you can follow the song and play along and sounds very real. I think that's enough to make music owners be more restrictive to release songs to this plattform. I hope I'm wrong and they understand this could be a great source of income to them.

  • @marcellodimarino true, royalties have to be paid. but think about the guitar magazines that each month publish 4-5 songs from metallica to ac/dc to i don't know what. the magazines rely on these for large volume sales so their price stays non prohibitive. since a large number of us already spend some money on guitar magazines *i think* it will be viable to follow a similar model and try to win over some of that market share

  • @Giorg1581 I think this will be difficult, because it is not just a matter of someone transcribe the song. An agreement between Arobas and the owner of the music/score must be made. And sometimes the owner could not allow or request more money than this business model are capable to provide. An example, do you really think Metallica will allow this for some cents per score? They make a lot of money selling paper song books.

  • it would be nice if users could request songs to be transcribed. your company could work with external professional musicians to transcribe the most frequently requested songs and then pay them a percentage from the sales of their transcriptions
