God bless Guy Lafleur, the flower, le numéro dix! He brought me so much joy during my teenage years when he would score his usual 50+ goals a year along side Steve Shutt and Jacques Lemaire or Pete Mahovlich or Pierre Larouche as his centerman! Sweet Jesus, he was the man during the mid to late 1970s!
I had the pleasure of meeting the man himself in Ottawa and I thanked him for giving me so much happiness during the 1970s! Merci M. Lafleur!
