This is my first montage ever, and I'm having a little bit of a hard time. Sections will tint themselves and then untint themselves. Also, I'm using Windows Movie Maker, and some of the videos I import won't play once they're imported. Can anybody help?

Any input from anybody would be fantastic.

i don't know why it tints, i never had that problem, but windows movie maker only plays wma and wmv files i believe. and avi too. so you're probably trying to import a file it can't play. make sure to check what you're downloading. i stopped using windows movie maker, i now use vegas movie studio. good luck though! it's looking good so far.

Thanks so much... the videos I have that aren't playing are wmv files, so it still seems a little strange. They'll come up and first second will play and then just black. So it's frustrating. I've been considering trying a different program... I have a couple on my computer, but WMM seemed easiest...

it did that to me too, i couldn't understand why. that's why i just switched to vegas. it accepts almost all types of movies without a problem. if you need anything else just let me know!
