ThankYou Dr. Mercola, I was using One world Whey for a while, it is an excellent product but it is pretty expensive, I then looked at some retail store alternatives, only knew to avoid aspartame and nothing else until I watched this. I checked out your products and your prices are really good, it works out to $1.67 a serving on auto ship, that's less than buying low nution meals at the grocey store. Mercola is an excellent value, I also use the krill oil which costs less than $20 a month.
was bioactively anabolic, and #2 it was almost 100% undenatured. Let me explain further.
Back when I was twenty-two (just a little wee-protein guru), even though unbeknownst to me, I was using a whey protein that was made from skim milk. It tasted great and had no funny after taste. I got stronger in a quick period of time and I grew lean muscle. Why was this? Let me explain…
Whey protein is a dairy product which by law is required to be pasteurized. Pasteurization involves heat. Heat
Ever hear of the expression, “They don’t make things like they used to?” Back in the early 90’s when whey protein first came out it was a very effective muscle building protein. Let me correct myself. SOME whey proteins were very effective, but not all. I was about 22 at the time when I first started bodybuilding and I remember first using a particular whey protein and let me tell you, when I was using
l whey protein powder was, were all conducted with whey protein made from skim milk. But over the years manufacturers started to make their whey protein from cheese. This cheese whey protein meant that it had to be subjected to heat denaturing (pasteurization) not once, but TWICE! Because our Native Whey Protein Isolate is less denatured by 50% it maintains at a much higher level its serum albumin, growth factors, immunoglobulins, and other protein subfractions making it highly anabolic. Much
one comment. I am extremely sensitive to milk based products and I cannot tolerate whey protein concentrates, however Ion Exchange whey protein isolates give me no trouble whatsoever. I think you need to take into account the number of people allergic to certain milk proteins before you advocate against whey protein isolates, which seem to be vastly less allergenic.
