Roller Coaster Cable Snaps during ride @ California Amusement Park

Cable snaps on roller coaster ride injuring two - SEPT/2009 -

Raw video:Buena Park, Calif. (September 16, 2009) Two guests were transported to the hospital today when a cable came loose from the Xcelerator roller coaster at Knott's Berry Farm. The incident caused lacerations to one 12 year old guest who came in contact with the cable. A male adult guest complained of back pain. All other guests were asked for a statement and released.

I don't get it why people are joking around. This accident nearly took the boys leg off and caused the man to sustain neck injuries. Well the cable did cut some of the boys leg off, but I just find it unkind to see people make jokes or humour out of this in the comments. Oh yeah, and the reason why the chair moved at 0:14 was because the cable cut through the front of the train where these two were. If you want to see it go ahead and look on images. OMG how awful! I hope they sued! I don't mean to be rude, but I use to work there, and when they had the Corkscrew, they forgot to lock the shoulder bars on me and my friend. I noticed just as the train was pulling out of the station. Thank God they saw me and locked it before the ride went further.
