"Snow Queen" by Roger Nichols Trio was written by Gerry Goffin & Carole King. This song was released in 1967 with A-Side "Love Song, Love Song" (A&M 830), arranged by Nick decaro and produced by Tommy LiPuma. This version is no strings and different from album version.
Pre-Carpenters . . . listen to the background harmonies . . . Karen and Richard.

キャロル・キングの絶品ウィンター名曲”スノウ・クウィーン"~勿論ロジャー・ニコルスのシングル・バージョンで、ニック・デカロのアンサンブル・アレンジが光ったネ!

Anybody have the album version? Been hunting this song from late 60's with full orchestration...very ethereal version as I recall.

The background vocals at the very end definitely sound like Richard and Karen could be in there...

Roger Nichols co-wrote many of The Carpenters big songs (with Paul Williams) including We'Ve Only Just Begun, I Won't Last a Day Without You, Let Me Be the One and Rainy Days & Mondays. Nichols was a great composing talent, although this sonbg is by Goffin & King.

This sounds suspiciously like The Carpenters might be involved in this, especially since it's on A&M.
