Joining thousands of worshippers from five different continents of the globe, President Benigno S. Aquino III graced the 33rd Anniversary Celebration of the Jesus is Lord (JIL) Church Worldwide in Luneta Grandstand, Manila.

With the thanksgiving celebration's theme, "Great God, Great Outpouring," the President led the global launching of Jesus Is Lord Church's "God Bless the Philippines" website (www.GodBlessThePhilippines.com) by personally posting the four-word prayer. The online movement intends to encourage everyone to express a prayer of blessing for the country, wherever and whenever available people may be through the use of World Wide Web.

In his message, President Aquino asked the JIL family, led by its Spiritual Director and International President Bro. Eddie Villanueva, to pray for the country, the government's crusade to end the suffering experienced by most Filipinos, and the strength to do what is right for his people, so that his reforms can yield positive results and that he can offer rightful services for his fellowmen. He thanked the Jesus Is Lord Church for being a partner of the government in serving the Filipino people, especially the deprived and underprivileged citizens.

The JIL members whole-heartedly prayed over the President for blessings and guidance and proclaimed, "God bless President Benigno Aquino III."

In the 33 years existence of Jesus Is Lord Church, the word of Christ is spread in 5 continents, 48 countries, 914 cities, 1,922 worship and healing services and 17,288 life groups. It was established in 1978 by 15 students whose mission is "to bring all peoples to the kingdom of the living God regardless of race, status, belief, and religious affiliations through the saving, healing, delivering and transforming power of the Lord Jesus Christ."
