This is a demonstration of strap holds with a torsion spring gripper.
You will need:
- a gripper
- a lifting strap
- a couple of plates
Preset the gripper, and put the strap in between the handles and lift the weight. Perform multiple sets for time.
This teaches the athlete how to overcrush the gripper developing greater crush grip strength.
It is also a tool that allows you to continue to use your weaker grippers as your strength progresses.
