Paul measured loudness of HW100 indoors, Beeman R1 was measured outdoors. These readings cannot be really compared.

Great review!

One very important feature you forgot to mention is the inability to load more than one pellet by mistake. I have been guilty on more than one occasion of forgetting if I loaded a new pellet. The fact that the HW100 won't cycle a new round until the trigger is pulled is a great feature and one worth mentioning.

A "safety" whether loaded or unloaded is always important. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a dummy.

How come you didnt mention the fact that you cant double load by accident as the magazine wont index when loaded? I also disagree about your statement on the safety, if you cant put it on its telling you that you havent loaded which is a handy reminder in the field when your mind is concentrating on the quarry. Just my opinion's, not slamming the review as it was great as usual. keep up the good work!
